The Merchandising Specialist plays a critical role in bringing Stanley's product assortment to life by translating merchandising strategy into compelling visual tools that support sales, product launches, and customer presentations. This role owns the North America Visual Line Plan (VLP), partnering closely with Product, Commercial, Sales, Retail Marketing, Creative, and Global Merchandising to ensure assortments are visually aligned, commercially relevant, and execution ready.
Working across multiple cross-functional teams, this role develops visual merchandising tools, seasonal storytelling, assortment presentations, and sales resources that enable successful go-to-market execution. With a strong process mindset and attention to detail, the Merchandising Specialist ensures merchandising information is accurate, current, and effectively communicated across the organization while continuously improving merchandising processes and tools.

What You'll Do
Own and maintain the North America Visual Line Plan, ensuring alignment with product strategy, seasonal launches, and commercial priorities.
Translate product assortments into customer-ready visual plans by channel and customer.
Develop visual merchandising tools that communicate product assortment, key franchises, color strategy, and seasonal stories.
Create customer-specific assortment visualizations and merchandising recommendations.
Develop and maintain seasonal sales decks, merchandising tools, assortment presentations, and sales meeting materials.
Support Sales Meetings through visual merchandising execution, assortment presentation, and merchandising guidance.
Coordinate product samples and maintain merchandising assets that support commercial priorities.
Develop merchandising standards, visual presentation tools, and 3D merchandising concepts that support retail execution.
Manage the Merchandising Room, ensuring assortments and samples accurately reflect current product strategies.
Communicate updates to assortments, product launches, and merchandising tools across cross-functional teams.
Continuously improve merchandising processes, tools, and documentation to increase efficiency and consistency.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with all cross-functional teams within Stanley.
Who You Are:
Strong visual merchandising, assortment planning, or retail presentation experience.
Exceptional visual storyteller with the ability to translate merchandising strategies into compelling presentations and visual tools.
Highly organized with excellent project management and prioritization skills.
Strong collaborator who builds effective partnerships across Product, Commercial, Sales, Retail Marketing, and Creative.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
Detail-oriented with a high standard for quality and execution.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, Marketing, Retail Merchandising, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in visual merchandising, retail merchandising, consumer products, or a related field.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
