The Federal Work Study Esports Video Editor (Videographer/Photographer) position assists with capturing and producing, the visual narrative of the ArtU Esports program. This on-site Federal Work Study position is based in the studio and arena environments. This position supports a Federal Work Study student’s educational and vocational goals with hands-on experience in this multi-faceted role. It balances technical equipment operation during live activities and assists post-production editing.
Video coverage of onsite tournaments, team practices, and weekly student events.
Set up, operate, and maintain physical studio lighting sets, mirrorless/DSLR cameras, stabilizer rigs, and field audio recording equipment.
Assist with editing video content.
Assist with executing audio mixing, color correction, sound design, and basic motion graphics integration.
Assist with archiving, organizing, and backing up raw video footage and photos into structural media servers for long-term project accessibility.
This Federal Work Study opportunity is open to junior and senior level students.
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro), or basic motion graphics (Adobe After Effects) is preferred.
Hands-on experience with technical media production equipment, including manual camera settings, studio lighting configurations (three-point setup), and audio capture devices is preferred.
Ability to work some weekends and regular hours (up to 20 hours per week).
Passion for games and esports preferred.
