The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the retention and growth of complex public sector client accounts through proactive planning and strategic oversight. The role involves managing high-level relationships with union leadership and management while mentoring junior account managers.
Requires a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or a high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant client service experience. Candidates must possess strong stakeholder influence skills and be willing to travel approximately 30% of the time.
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the retention, and growth of CalVEBA's largest and/or most complex client accounts. This role leads proactive account planning, strengthens relationships across management and union leadership, and ensures complex client needs are addressed through coordinated internal resources and consultative service delivery.
This role is intended to expand the Client Services model by adding senior-level capacity for strategic execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement beyond day-to-day benefits administration.
