Full job description
Description
Fervo is building the infrastructure for next-generation geothermal power at scale. Doing so requires not just technical execution, but a compelling investor narrative, rigorous financial reporting, and trusted relationships across the capital markets community. As Fervo advances toward major financing milestones as a public company, the ability to manage investor relationships, deliver high-quality disclosure, and shape how the street understands and values Fervo becomes increasingly central to the company's mission.
The Investor Relations Manager will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Development & Investor Relations and work closely with cross-functional teams across finance, legal, and project development. This role is suited for a finance professional with strong public company exposure, solid capital markets fluency, and a genuine passion for the role.
The Investor Relations Manager will serve as a key point of contact for the investment community, supporting and executing the company's investor communications strategy and helping ensure how Fervo is understood and valued by current and prospective capital partners. This role demands excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical and financial information into clear, compelling narratives for a sophisticated investor audience.
Success in this position means supporting the building of trusted, long-term relationships with institutional and retail investors, owning the day-to-day execution of high-quality reporting and disclosure, and ensuring Fervo's story is told consistently and credibly across all investor touchpoints. The IR Manager will play a hands-on, execution-focused role, driving the day-to-day mechanics of the quarterly earnings process, supporting sell-side relationships, contributing to Board reporting, and helping position Fervo as a pioneering voice in energy.

Coordinate day-to-day engagement with the equity research community, helping maintain analyst relationships, track research coverage and estimates, coordinate responses to analyst questions, and ensure Fervo’s financial narrative is well understood by the sell side
Support the development of Fervo’s institutional investor base, including investor targeting, ownership and peer analysis, and preparation for conferences and non-deal roadshows through targeted outreach and inbound relationship management
Maintain a consistent and compelling investor narrative across external communications, ensuring alignment with internal strategy and incorporating relevant investor and analyst feedback into ongoing messaging
Capital Markets & Events
Support investor conferences, roadshows, and investor day events, including investor targeting and scheduling, development of briefing materials, management preparation, logistics, and post-event follow-up
Monitor and synthesize equity research coverage, consensus estimates and revisions, peer company activity, shareholder base changes, and broader capital markets developments into regular briefings for senior leadership
Track 13F filings and institutional ownership shifts, analyzing changes in investor positioning and key shareholder trends and maintaining a current and accurate view of Fervo’s shareholder base

Manage the day-to-day execution of investor reporting obligations, including quarterly and annual reporting packages and earnings releases, coordinating inputs and review processes across key internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
Drive the operational execution of the end-to-end earnings process, including calendar and process management, script development, management Q&A preparation, supporting materials and rehearsals, and post-call transcript review
Support compliance with Reg FD and other public company disclosure requirements, serving as a working-level resource on disclosure best practices and material information handling and helping ensure investor interactions and communications follow established disclosure protocols
Contribute data and analysis to Board of Directors reporting, synthesizing investor sentiment, shareholder activity, sell-side perspectives, capital markets activity, and financing progress into clear, decision-useful takeaways for directors and senior leadership
Planning & Decision Support
Partner closely with the Corporate Development & Capital Markets teams to align investor communications with broader capital strategy and transaction activity, supporting the development of investor messaging and materials around financing and other strategic initiatives
Support long-range planning and scenario analysis, helping assess the potential investor and valuation implications of key business, financing, and capital allocation decisions
Synthesize industry trends, policy developments, competitive dynamics, and other external market intelligence into actionable insights for leadership
Serve as a cross-functional resource, partnering with Finance, Legal, Corporate Development, Communications, and Project Development to coordinate inputs, surface investor considerations, and support IR-related workstreams across the organization
