The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design of mechanical systems for various building sectors and manage project teams to produce high-quality construction documents. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering and possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license. A minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression system design, along with proficiency in Autodesk Revit, is required.

DLR Group has an opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading design of mechanical systems for buildings across a variety of sectors including Higher Education, Culture & Performing Arts, Healthcare, K-12, Justice/Civic and Energy. You will lead mechanical engineering teams to produce high-quality construction documents using Revit and manage project schedules to meet deliverable requirements. As part of the integrated design team, you will collaborate closely with other disciplines to produce highly integrated building designs.
You will be responsible for leading the design process of mechanical building systems and preparing detailed mechanical engineering drawings and calculations. Responsibilities include management of Mechanical Designers and/or other team members.
