The Handyperson Shipfitter is responsible for executing assigned tasks related to the installation, modification, and repair of structural components on ships. They must maintain communication with supervisors and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve their skills in the trade.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the Shipfitter trade and a general working knowledge of shipboard structural components. They should also be able to work in various environmental conditions and pass necessary screenings.
