Candidates must have at least 2 years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, they are required to obtain two specialty certifications and possess a valid driver's license.

The Specialty Technician I performs field-based destructive and non-destructive testing, inspection, and observation activities in support of specialty construction materials testing projects. This role focuses on specialized testing disciplines such as structural steel inspections, welding observations, and/or non-destructive evaluation (NDE) while working under the direction of more experienced staff. The Specialty Technician I develops technical competency in specialty testing methods and inspection practices while maintaining a positive customer service attitude and demonstrating ECS Core Values.

The expected pay range for this role and location is $20-$35/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
