Join Dominion Water & Sanitation District as a full-time Senior Construction Manager to drive innovative water efficiency improvements statewide! Based in Greenwood Village, CO, our team is at the forefront of water/wastewater management, and we're hiring a capable problem solver to successfully guide our projects from beginning to end.
Pay: $135,000 - $155,000/year, depending on experience

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER EXPECTATIONS:
In this project management role, you'll play a key part in strategic planning, efficient preconstruction, and high-quality construction activities for new water/wastewater storage, conveyance, and treatment facilities. You'll ensure all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and up to our quality standards. Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Stakeholder Relations
Fostering positive relationships with partners, residents, governments, contractors, and consultants
Assisting engineering teams with various functions (such as permitting efforts) to support timely construction delivery
Project Management
Overseeing multiple projects and ensuring compliance with DWSD safety and quality protocols during all planning/field operations
Supporting smooth project execution by procuring and managing construction contracts, approving payment applications, developing risk mitigation strategies, resolving project issues, and coordinating the schedule and startup activities with the operations team
Developing budgets while considering contingencies, scope changes, and unforeseen issues
Actively monitoring project progress and stepping in where needed to meet timelines and quality expectations
Helping design and plan ongoing and forecasted projects
Developing and reporting key performance metrics
Document Management
Maintaining accurate project documentation (permits, contractor submittals, RFIs, delivery notes, change orders, meeting minutes, etc.) and thoroughly recording all project activities, correspondence, and decisions
Facilitating smooth communication between the site project teams, engineers, and partners
Providing updates on milestones, challenges, and accomplishments to the Dominion team, Capital Programs Manager, and other stakeholders
Maintaining the record-keeping platform to support accurate real-time reporting
Inspecting installed work and stored materials
Coordinating with engineers and operations teams to manage testing/inspection consultants and approve critical equipment installations
SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (BS) in construction management, civil engineering, or a closely related field
8+ years of construction management experience, with proven experience managing projects from beginning to end and handling aspects like scheduling, planning, and cost controls
Strong understanding of water/wastewater capital construction and project management
Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow up with crew members to ensure issues are properly resolved
Ability to wear all PPE and work in various environments, including a professional office, different job sites, and a construction trailer
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (specifically Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint)
Proficiency with scheduling software (i.e., Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project)
Valid driver's license with a willingness to conduct site visits and travel to meetings in/out of our service area
Sharp attention to detail with meticulous documentation & recordkeeping skills
Strong communication skills for coordinating with external agencies, partners, and contractors/developers in person, over the phone, and through email
Effective organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
Certified Construction Manager (CCM) license and experience working directly for a municipality, water district, or related contractor would be preferred.
