Skanska provides construction project management consulting services through our in-house group known as Skanska Integrated Solutions (SIS). With a 30-year track record of success, SIS functions as an “extension of staff” and is a trusted advisor to its clients. Skanska’s construction and project delivery expertise translates directly into maximum savings and quality.
The Construction Field Manager is responsible for providing onsite construction observation, communication, and coordination in a Construction Management role, acting as an Owner’s Agent. Observing and reporting on the contractor's progress and adherence to the project schedule. The Field Manager monitors and reports on the construction contractor’s field labor force. This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, as well as strong communication and client service skills. Duties include coordination of contractors, taking and documenting detailed measurements for payment, inspecting the work for compliance with the specifications, quality acceptance testing, notifying the Owner of issues and potential deviations from plans and specifications, and working with the contractor to resolve minor issues without guidance.
