We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Mgr - Processing.

Principal responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations via performance dashboards, ensuring KPI adherence and early identification of exceptions.
• Coach and support team members in problem-solving and career development, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture that embraces new technology.
• Manage capacity to meet service levels within the Financial Rolling Plan.
• Deliver value-led, professional service that meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships across Business, Operations, Risk and Technology.
• Lead and contribute to governance and committee forums; escalate issues promptly and propose practical solutions.
• Support group/market strategic initiatives and lead local delivery of flagship programmes (e.g., processing system migrations).
• Drive process standardisation and market benchmarking to remove non-value-added activity or strengthen controls.
• Maintain robust internal controls to mitigate operational, compliance and reputational risks in daily operations.
• Ensure timely completion of key reviews and exercises (e.g., SOP, SLA, BCP).
• Apply disciplined risk management to support growth and change; continuously reassess risks considering market conditions, regulatory requirements and technology impacts, and implement mitigations.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of general banking products and services;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations & including people management role.
• Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills including influencing decision-makers.
• Clear understanding of Group/Global directions to ensure daily operation alignment.
• Independant decision making skill and problem solving skill with solutions-focused approach.
• Robust risk and control mindset with clear directions to subordinates.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret MI/data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent resource planning to address unplan workload in team, ability to mobilise resources within/beyond direct reporting lines to deliver satisfactory outcomes.
• Financial management capability is preferred.
• Work well in multi-cultural diverse work environments.
• Proficient in English and Chinese.
