We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of strategic initiatives within AI Markets.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, quants, and developers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across solution design, architecture, development standards, and implementation planning.
• Drive the design and build of robust services and applications using Python and Java.
• Define and govern application architecture, including integration patterns, API design, security controls, observability, resilience, and performance considerations.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, engineering best practices, and control requirements.
• Oversee technical planning, dependency management, environment strategy, release readiness, and production support models.
• Review solution designs and code to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and operational stability.
• Support the adoption of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code quality controls, and cloud/container-based deployment patterns where applicable.
• Manage technical risks, issues, trade-offs, and architectural decisions with clear documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Work across multiple teams to align on target architecture, delivery sequencing, and reuse of common capabilities.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications:

• Strong experience in software engineering and technical leadership within financial markets, front-office, or similarly demanding enterprise environments.
• Solid hands-on development experience in both Python and Java.
• Strong experience in solution architecture and application architecture, including distributed systems and service-oriented design.
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise applications.
• Experience with API and microservice design, system integration, and event-driven or service-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, release management, and agile delivery practices.
• Experience with non-functional architecture considerations such as performance, reliability, monitoring, recoverability, and security.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across delivery, technical governance, and strategic change.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make pragmatic decisions in complex delivery environments.

What additional skills will be good to have?

• Experience working in electronic trading, markets technology, quant platforms, pricing, risk, workflow tooling, or AI/ML-enabled platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, containers, orchestration, and modern platform engineering practices.
• Experience with data-intensive systems, workflow orchestration, and integration with analytics or AI services.
• Exposure to front-office controls, model governance, auditability, and operational risk considerations.
• Experience leading small to medium engineering teams, matrix teams, or cross-functional delivery pods.
• Familiarity with architecture governance forums, design authorities, and technical review processes.
