The Registered Nurse will provide bedside care to acutely ill patients, including cardiac telemetry monitoring and medication administration. They will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to design, implement, and evaluate patient-centered nursing care plans.
Candidates must have graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or a Compact State. At least one year of acute care nursing experience, preferably in cardiac care, and BLS certification are required.

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland
Reporting to the Director, the Registered Nurse (RN) must demonstrate the passion to provide bedside care to a diverse and acutely ill population of patients. The Registered Nurse should possess the knowledge and skill of how-to safety apply the nursing process to assess, plan and evaluate the care of patients with various health conditions.
This 30-bed unit provides care to patients with primary cardiac diagnoses, as well as to medical patients that require cardiac telemetry monitoring. 4 South Acute/Cardiac is staffed by registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, health unit coordinators, and monitor technicians. Staff receive support from clinical educators and advanced practice nurses.
Pay Range: $38.92 – $55.68. Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
