The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will perform initial psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe medication as needed. They will also monitor patient progress and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, comprehensive behavioral healthcare.
Candidates must hold a valid Maryland license as an Advanced Practice Nurse and possess ANCC PMHNP certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in prescribing medication and experience working with patients in crisis are required.

About This Role
As the largest provider of PHP/IOP programs and psychiatric services in Illinois, Compass Health Center is one of the fastest-growing behavioral health organizations in the country. We are thrilled to expand our exceptionally innovative and highly distinguished programs that redefine our industry and raise the standard for comprehensive care.
Launched in September 2023, our location in Silver Spring, MD, is home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers have built our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about addressing the current nationwide behavioral health crisis, while working on interdisciplinary treatment teams within an organization that is redefining the standard of comprehensive PHP/IOP care. You will play a pivotal role in a growing, mission-driven environment that accommodates provider autonomy to create innovative and individualized treatments for each patient.

Compass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, bringing passion, connection, and patient-centered care to the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient space (PHP/IOP). Founded in 2011, Compass Health Center is the largest provider of non-hospital-based, specialized mental health services in Illinois, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin.
