The Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine technical tasks and service duties, including monitoring vital signs and assisting patients with daily living activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe environment, reporting equipment issues, and participating in departmental education and professional initiatives.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED and a valid Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. Additionally, an active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, along with the physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and bending.
Work Schedule:
Employment Type: Part-time
Hours per Week: 24 hrs/week
Typical Daily Schedule: Monday through Friday 7pm-7am (2x12 hour shifts)
Shift Type: Nights
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend rotation
Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar
Shift Differential Eligible: Yes
