The Staff Accountant manages transactions across multiple sets of books, including preparing journal entries and performing account analysis. They are also responsible for bank reconciliations and assisting the Dealership Controller with the monthly closing process.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of dealership accounting experience and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. A bachelor's degree in accounting and experience with ADP or Timberline software are desired.

$5,000-$7,000 per month
A minimum of 3 years dealership accounting experience and experience with dealership accounting software is required.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for the handling of transactions in multiple sets of books; balancing intercompany accounts; preparing journal entries; performing account analysis and accrual calculations; assisting in the monthly closing process for various companies.
Duties and Responsibilities: Preparation, posting and filing of journal entries to record accounting data including: bank activity-ACH and wire transactions; depreciation; prepaid and other items as required to facilitate a complete and accurate closing to multiple sets of books maintained on ADP software. Performs bank reconciliations and assists in preparing month-end analysis schedules at the direction of the Dealership Controller.
