The Medical Assistant/NCT performs patient care duties including radiology, vitals, and medication administration under provider supervision. They are also responsible for wound care, splinting, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification/experience. An active NCT license from the Texas Medical Board and current CPR certification are required.

What we are looking for
NextCare Urgent Care is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Medical Assistant who has or is interested in obtaining their Non-Certified Technician certification that likes the challenge of a fast pace setting and working in a team environment. We are looking for customer-friendly and passionate employees to be a part of our growing organization where patients and employees are our top priority.
Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant - NCT is responsible for performing patient care duties under the Medical Assistant scope of practice in the urgent care setting as follows:
How you will make an impact
The Radiology Technologist supports the organization with customer service and treating all of our patients with respect and dignity. They provide patient care services in the back office urgent care setting, which will meet the specific needs of the patient.
Essential Education, Experience and Skills:
Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; AND
OR
OR
Other MA education or experience may be considered upon review and approval from Compliance and Regulatory department
Licensure for NCT: Must have an active and current NCT license issued by the Texas Medical Board
Certification: Current healthcare professional level CPR certification issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety Health Institute or National Safety
