The Respiratory Therapist evaluates and treats patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders under physician direction. Responsibilities include providing bedside care, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and families on disease management.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the State of Florida. Required certifications include BLS for Healthcare Providers and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program within six months.
The Respiratory Therapist evaluates, treats, and cares for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. This position practices under the direction of a physician. The position provides bedside respiratory care to patients as assigned by supervisors and given on the physician's written order for both in house and out patient care.
