The Operations Driver is responsible for the scheduled and ad-hoc pickup and delivery of mail, packages, and program materials across the tri-state area. They must maintain accurate logs, ensure vehicle safety, and provide excellent customer service while coordinating with various departments.
Candidates must possess a High School degree and a safe driving record as verified by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles. The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Summary To provide both scheduled and ad-hoc pickup/delivery service of interoffice mail, packages, program materials and other routine and specialized logistic needs. Coverage includes both New York City boroughs, Yonkers and, as needed, the tri-state area. Hours will be standardized, to accommodate pickup/delivery routes, however flexibility or additional hours may be required depending on any time specific needs
