Candidates must have a valid Minnesota Registered Nurse license and at least 2 years of recent professional psychiatric nursing experience. A BSN or certification in a clinical specialty is preferred.

The Day Treatment Program is an intensive outpatient psychiatric rehabilitation program that serves adults 18 years of age and older living with serious mental illness.
Note: If you are currently in a benefit earning position and apply for this casual position you will be decreasing your current hours to casual with no benefits.
Casual nurses are nurses who have no regular appointed scheduled hours (no assigned FTE). Nurses may not have a casual position and a regularly scheduled position within the same facility. Casual nurses must make themselves available to work a minimum of two (2) open 8-hour minimum length or the equivalent number of hours per four (4)-week scheduling period at straight time, a minimum of one shift must be a weekend shift. If applicable: Casual nurses must also make themselves available to work two (2) of the following holiday shifts per calendar year: New Year's Day, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. Holiday shifts must be full eight or twelve hour shifts. A minimum of one of the holidays must be a winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's).
