As an Associate Security Architect, you will contribute to security-by-design across Swiss Re by supporting architecture reviews, security requirements, standards, and governance activities. You will learn from experienced security architects while helping delivery teams understand and apply security expectations in a practical, consistent way. What’s more, you’ll be working in a hybrid setup, balancing work from home and the office premises.
About the team
The Enterprise Security Architecture team helps define, maintain, and apply security architecture across Swiss Re and its business domains. We translate security expectations into clear requirements, standards, architecture decisions, and practical guidance that enable secure transformation.
We work closely with security and technology teams across Swiss Re Group to promote security-by-design, assess security risks, and provide guidance. Our work supports aligned architectures, measurable security maturity, and clear security roadmaps for the organisation.
We are looking for a highly motivated team player with genuine passion for cybersecurity, a solid foundation in security concepts, and the curiosity to grow into enterprise security architecture. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with around 2–3 years of relevant experience who wants to support architecture reviews, document security guidance, and contribute to secure design decisions under the guidance of experienced architects.

For Spain the base salary range for this position is between EUR 42,000 and EUR 70,000 per year (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
