The RN is responsible for assessing physical and behavioral health needs and implementing nursing care plans for adolescents. Key duties include administering medications, maintaining medical records, and coordinating care within a psychiatric residential setting.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with a current RN license and at least one year of nursing experience. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certifications are required, though training is available upon hire.

Our therapy driven program provides services to physically healthy adolescents, who primarily require general oversight of health and education management. Similar to a school nurse environment (just longer shifts), our Mental Health Nurses work alongside our kids to ensure their safety and respond to behavioral concerns along with our dedicated care team.
Situated in a historic neighborhood southeast of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, Resource Treatment Center provides comprehensive mental health/psychiatric treatment for youth who are suffering from emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychiatric concerns.

Resource Treatment Center provides the most comprehensive level of care possible to children and adolescents in need of substance abuse and mental health treatment in the Indianapolis area. From a historic neighborhood in Indianapolis, our multidisciplinary staff treats children, adolescents, teenagers and young adults who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, developmental, psychiatric and addiction-related issues. Resource Treatment Center provides the most comprehensive level of care possible to our patients. Our dedicated and caring team prides itself on giving the youth entrusted into our care the positive influence and compassionate care necessary during their troubled time. To this end, we incorporate medication management, individual, group and family therapy, as well as school programming into our individualized treatment programs. Here at Resource Treatment Center, our primary treatment objective is successfully reintegrate all of our clients into their families, schools and communities.
