About the Role:
Lead or contribute to the development of new concrete products, considering performance, cost, and market requirements.
Create and review product designs, ensuring they meet industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct testing and analysis of concrete mixes to assess and improve product performance and durability.
Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain high-quality standards for concrete products.
Identify opportunities for process improvement in concrete production to enhance efficiency and product consistency.
Work with raw material suppliers to evaluate and select materials suitable for concrete manufacturing.
Assist in cost analysis and value engineering to optimize product performance while managing production costs.
Maintain accurate documentation of product specifications, testing results, and design changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and sales, to address product-related challenges and opportunities.
Ensure that concrete products comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing processes.
Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including management and customers.
Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in construction or precast industry
Prior experience in PPVC projects will be an added advantage
Proficient in interpreting all production-related drawings
Knowledge of building construction, application of precast and prefabricated building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
