The Sr. Global Sourcing Leader establishes and leads cross-functional commodity teams to develop and implement value-optimizing supply strategies. They are responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost reductions through global consolidation.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong skills in global sourcing, negotiation, project leadership, and analytical decision-making are required.
Job Summary
Establishes and leads cross functional commodity teams to create and implement value optimizing supply strategies for assigned commodity/commodities. Works with project teams to identify sources and negotiate price and delivery for new components. Ultimately responsible for the supply relationship within the assigned commodity/commodities. Travels as required for the successful completion of duties.
