The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients to improve physical functional performance and prevent injuries. They also direct Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians while maintaining detailed documentation and quality improvement standards.
Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program and possess a valid state license or temporary permit. New graduates are welcome to apply, provided they can adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
The Physical Therapist I is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment of the patient within the parameters of legal and professional guidelines, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Physical Therapist instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned. This position evaluates and implements the plan of care to improve, restore and enhance physical functional performance, and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist performs documentation and quality improvement, as outlined in departmental policies and procedures.
You will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of physicians, physical, occupational, and speech therapists while providing one on one care to patients.
