Provide a safe and secure environment by managing access control and visitor logs at assigned hospital posts. Monitor for suspicious activities and respond to emergencies, including patient transport and disaster situations.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service. Must obtain NCSO and Texas Driver's License certifications within 90 days and pass a motor vehicle record check.
We are searching for a full-time night shift NCSO Security Officer -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide a safe and secure environment during the shift and within the area of the assigned post. The officer will assist the public, staff, and/or patients in all matters of safety and security. The security officer NCSO staffs a post as instructed and serves as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions; detects suspicious activities; watches for criminal acts or client rule infractions and addressed them appropriately. This position’s primary function is to assist with access control and visitor management into appropriate secure areas. This position documents the access through the visitor management system at their assigned post. The Security Officer NCSO also observes and reports any issues dealing with the safety and security of their assigned post to the Security upper leader.
