The driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment between locations. They must also perform routine vehicle maintenance, maintain accurate logs, and ensure compliance with all traffic, DOT, and safety regulations.
Candidates must possess a valid CDL Class A license and at least 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience. Additionally, applicants must have a clean MVR, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and must pass pre-employment drug and road tests.

JOB SUMMARY:
A Driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial truck to transport materials from one destination to another. They drive long distances while adhering to strict federal and state regulations governing commercial vehicle operation. This includes following hours of service limits, maintaining vehicle standards, and ensuring compliance with rest periods. Additionally, drivers are trained in safe driving practices.

This job in a dynamic environment requires being sensitive to change and responsive to changing goals, priorities, and needs. Intermittently balancing, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, lifting, mental acuity, pulling pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity. Also requires heavy work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
Working Conditions
This job is located primarily in an outdoor environment with varying noise levels. There may be varying degrees of temperature. The employee may be interrupted from time to time.
