The Optometric Technician Instructor will provide up to date and fully prepared instruction to optometric technician students in an energetically and motivating instructional manner along with engaging in activities in student retention and manages the classroom/lab activities.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands are those required in a professional office setting and higher education teaching environment, along with activities of an optometric professional: communicating with coworkers, presenting to a classroom of students (virtual classrooms for on-line), demonstrating procedures and techniques, and getting to and from appropriate classes and offices. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Working Environment:
