JOB SUMMARY

Skyline Scientific is looking for a strong Python software engineer who is excited to work on machine learning-enabled sensor-data workflows, neural network training pipelines, automation tools, and algorithm development in support of national security missions. This role is ideal for someone who can do more than write assigned code. We are looking for someone who can understand a technical problem, design the software logic, build modular workflows, and work closely with sensor, data, and machine learning experts to turn complex technical concepts into usable tools.
You do not need to be the sensor expert on day one. You also do not need to be a machine learning research scientist. You do need to be a strong coder, a clear thinker, and someone who is excited to work with scientists and engineers to build software that supports simulation, training data workflows, automation, analysis, and operational decision-making.
