The Infusion RN provides professional nursing care for oncology patients, including the administration of therapies and medications under physician supervision. They are responsible for patient assessment, dose modification, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse with BLS certification; a BSN is preferred. Depending on the level, experience ranges from entry-level to over five years, with oncology experience strongly preferred.
Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This position will support our Mary Crowley Dallas location. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with work hours generally falling between 7:00am and 5:00pm. This position is expected to work a standard five-day, approximately 40-hour work week. Ocassional short weekend coverage may be required.

What does the Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) do?
Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental and age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
