The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist manages full-cycle accounts payable operations, including high-volume invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor relationship management. The role also involves supporting month-end close activities, ensuring internal controls, and implementing process improvements using automation and AI tools.
Candidates should possess at least 5 years of progressive accounts payable experience and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and automated AP platforms is required, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist supports the full accounts payable function through accurate invoice processing, vendor management, payment execution, internal controls, documentation, reporting, process improvement, and effective use of automation and AI-enabled tools.
This role requires a detail-oriented accounts payable professional with high-volume AP experience, strong system knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve complex issues while improving efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
