Job Description
How you’ll make a difference
AECOM is seeking an experienced and motivated CAD / Drafting Lead to support the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects across New South Wales. This role will play a critical leadership function within the Highways design team, overseeing drafting quality, standards, digital delivery workflows, and leading and mentoring a team of drafters.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise in civil/highways design documentation with demonstrated leadership and coordination skills, ensuring high-quality outputs aligned with AECOM and client requirements.

10+ years of experience
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D / AutoCAD
Experience working in drafting teams on major infrastructure projects, desirably on major road infrastructure projects in NSW.
Strong understanding of Transport for NSW standards and Australian design practices
Ability to lead drafting teams both local and offshore
