In this role, you'll:
This role will see you support the development, maintenance and enhancement of strategic transport and freight models to strengthen Transport for NSW forecasting capability.
You will provide technical expertise and model development outcomes in a complex transport planning environment with evolving assumptions, methodologies and stakeholder needs.
You will contribute to model assurance, analysis and stakeholder coordination to support evidence-based planning and community outcomes across NSW.
Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience, with solid experience developing strategic transport models and expertise in modelling software and Python.
You’re recognised as a collaborative and analytical problem-solver, skilled at communicating complex modelling assumptions, outputs and limitations clearly.
You bring experience in transport planning, forecasting and model development to achieve consistent, accurate and future-focused planning outcomes.
