The Parking Assistant manages traffic flow, provides parking services for patients and guests, and operates shuttle vehicles to transport individuals across the campus. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of valet services and ensuring a positive first impression for all facility visitors.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in customer service or parking fields. A valid Virginia operator's license is required, along with strong communication skills and a professional, hospitable demeanor.
The Parking Assistant
Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
Experience: 2 years related experience in customer service or parking fields.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Valid Virginia Operators License and adherence to the Qualified Drivers Guidelines and Eligibility Standards. Life Support: None required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Must have strong communications skills, hospitable personality, calmness, tact, diplomacy and professionalism in handling all situations. Must ensure proper operation of vehicles.
