The Hostler is responsible for moving trailers between parking spaces and loading doors within the yard. They must also maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, clean work environment.
A Class A CDL is required, and at least one year of hostler experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to work in extreme weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Identifying and moving trailers from parking spaces in the trailer yard to doors for loading, then moving trailers back to parking spaces and/or other truck lots in preparation for transport.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in both very hot (more than 100 degrees) and very cold (20 degrees below zero), and in a very wet and humid environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, crawl, climb, squat, and work at times both above the head and at ground level during the shift. Must keep work area safe and clean and work safely and efficiently.
