The driver/material handler is responsible for safely transporting materials to customers, planning efficient routes, and performing vehicle inspections. Additionally, the role involves managing warehouse inventory, including receiving, counting, and organizing materials using forklifts and scanning systems.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of relevant logistics experience. A valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record and proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks are required.

• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving, with proven skills for safely operating various trucks.
• Solid performance record of truck driving. Maintains a valid driver’s license with clean MVR over last 7 years.
• Experience with sit-down forklift, and pallet jacks required, with excellent safety record.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, supervisors, and the public.
• Ability to work independently, to communicate effectively, to follow specific written and oral instructions, quick learner, flexible, detail oriented.
• Ability to make independent judgments, which have moderate impact on the organization.
• Detail-oriented, checks own work and corrects mistakes made. Is extremely careful when identifying material.

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.

• Experience with using PC and applications, warehouse management systems, wireless forklift computer systems, and scanners preferred
• CDLA preferred but not required
