MotionAds is looking for a highly organised, proactive and entrepreneurial Driver Community & Operations Manager to manage and grow our driver network across the Western Cape.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving operational challenges and being hands-on in the field. You will be responsible for driver recruitment, onboarding, engagement, campaign implementation, inspections, inventory, fleet owner relationships and operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Driver Community Management

• Recruit, onboard and retain high-quality drivers.
• Build strong relationships with drivers and fleet owners.
• Manage driver communication through WhatsApp groups and other channels.
• Provide ongoing driver support and resolve operational issues.
• Organise driver training, events, roundtables and reward initiatives.
• Build and manage driver referral programmes.
• Educate drivers about MotionAds, our campaigns and earning opportunities.

Campaign Operations

• Coordinate campaign production, flighting and driver onboarding.
• Manage driver contracts, briefings, payments and tracking system integration.
• Conduct and coordinate physical and virtual inspections.
• Ensure campaign branding remains compliant and in good condition.
• Coordinate re-wraps and campaign changes.
• Support the rollout of campaigns across the Western Cape.
• Provide live operational support to drivers during campaigns.

Performance and Compliance

• Monitor driver performance, campaign compliance and engagement.
• Identify and resolve underperformance or non-compliance.
• Maintain accurate driver, campaign and inspection records.
• Manage driver payment reconciliations and deductions.
• Ensure drivers and campaigns comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Provide regular reports to the Head of Operations and internal teams.

Inventory and Fleet Management

• Manage campaign stock, top boxes and operational equipment.
• Coordinate stock intake, requests, distribution and replenishment.
• Maintain an organised and accurate warehouse and inventory system.
• Track the allocation, ownership and condition of top boxes.
• Manage relationships with fleet owners and support fleet-owned bikes on campaigns.

Candidate Requirements

• Based in Cape Town.
• Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in operations, logistics, field operations, fleet management or a similar role.
• Strong technology skills and confidence using digital systems, spreadsheets, databases and reporting platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative ability.
• Comfortable working with drivers, contractors, suppliers and operational teams.
• Able to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and operational priorities.
• Willing to travel throughout the Western Cape and work in the field when required.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, with a focus on delivering positive experiences for drivers and clients.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify problems and implement practical solutions.
