The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for product control, including final and in-process inspections and the management of non-conforming materials. They ensure all products and processes comply with airworthiness and company quality requirements while collaborating with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
Candidates need at least 2 years of aerospace-specific quality inspection experience and 3 years of hands-on production or inspection experience. Preferred qualifications include an AME license, a college diploma in Aeronautics, or a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Control Inspector is directly accountable for product control including final inspection, in process inspections, documentation and control of non-conforming material; control and verification of production process changes, tooling control, and control of monitoring and measuring devices.
