Responsibilities
The Truck Builder uses specialized software to layout and assemble trailer loads to maximize safety and efficiency. They are also responsible for maintaining equipment, ordering supplies, and addressing driver concerns regarding load builds.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for one year of warehouse experience and familiarity with Truck Builder software. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills and the physical ability to work in cold warehouse environments.
BASIC PURPOSE The Truck Builder will ensure the efficient layout and assembly of each Truck Builder load to optimize the number of cases per truck leaving the division and make loading and unloading as efficient as possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use Truck Builder software to layout and assemble each trailer. Analyze the output to ensure that loads are built to maximize both safety and efficiency while loading and unloading product .
Maintain equipment and ensure the proper supply of all necessary materials to facilitate successful loading and unloading processes. Order supplies as needed.
Respond to all driver concerns regarding loads built with Truck Builder. Adjust loads as necessary to address concerns and maximize efficiency.
Assist in loading trailers as needed to meet daily production goals.
Other duties as assigned by manager.

Work will take place at a desk in an office environment and within normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
