Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and calibrating instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical systems within an air separation plant. They must also perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as compressors, pumps, and turbines while fostering a strong safety culture.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience in maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in an industrial environment. The role requires 50 percent travel and the ability to work with various measuring and regulating instruments.

The Instrument Maintenance Technician contributes to the operation and control of equipment used in the process of air separation; while dedicated to supporting and caring for plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment.
Support, maintain, and resolve issues with instrumentation systems and calibrations, guided by manufacturers' instructions, local work instructions and governing regulations
Install, maintain, adjust, and care for manual, pneumatic, electric, and electronic measuring, recording, and regulating instrumentation
Maintain, resolve issues with, and perform preventative inspections on mechanical equipment and systems, guided by manufacturer's instructions, local work instructions and governing regulations
Support, maintain, and resolve issues with electrical systems, guided by manufacturers' instructions, local work instructions and governing regulations
Support quality control and quality assurance equipment, including process analyzers and gas chromatographs
Maintain calibration standards, including inspection, testing, and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders
Execute diverse and varied analytical calibrations and adjustments
Maintain, resolve issues with, and support maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and other plant equipment
Foster a strong culture of safety
