Lead all preconstruction planning and coordination for commercial roofing projects from contract award to operations handoff. Manage project data, material procurement, budgets, and coordination with architects and engineers to ensure seamless execution.
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of experience in commercial construction, design, or manufacturing. Must be proficient in reading blueprints, managing budgets, and using CRM and CAD software.
Nations Roof, one of the largest commercial roofing contractors, in the US. Our projects range in scope from large-scale new construction to complete tear-offs, re-roofing and renovations of existing building exteriors, and on-going roof maintenance, inspection, and repairs of all major commercial roof systems.
This position is based in Charlotte, NC and will be 100% in the office with a Monday-Friday schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
The PreConstruction Manager, under the direct supervision of the Vice President (or other manager listed above), is responsible for the successful planning and execution of commercial roofing projects by managing various administrative and preconstruction tasks. This role demands a commitment to professionalism and quality, focusing on meticulous planning, organization, and execution of preconstruction activities to ensure each project meets its goals efficiently and effectively
Responsible for leading all preconstruction planning and coordination for commercial roofing projects from contract award through operations handoff. Ensures accuracy of estimating data, contract documents, budgets, materials procurement, and project setup within CRM/project management systems. Works closely with estimators, project managers, vendors, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution, cost control, and schedule alignment.
