You must possess strong knowledge of public-sector budgeting and procurement processes, along with the ability to communicate effectively with high-level agency officials.
Full job description
VIDIZMO is growing its Public Safety Sales organization and looking for driven, experienced sales professionals to win and expand business across law-enforcement, justice, and public-safety agencies nationwide. If you thrive in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment and want to move revenue rather than chase activity metrics, this is your seat.
VIDIZMO is a U.S.-based technology company headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, and a Microsoft Solutions Partner across Data & AI, Infrastructure, and Digital & App Innovation. Through our AI-powered Intelligence Hub, we help Fortune 500 enterprises, government agencies, and public-sector organizations securely manage, analyze, and govern complex data with full control and compliance.

You'll be assigned a territory, customer segment, or strategic market based on your experience and relationships, and you'll own opportunities across complex, multi-stakeholder government procurement cycles.

Public Safety Account Executive
Senior / Strategic Public Safety Account Executive

Level, territory, compensation, and account assignments are set by experience, market knowledge, relationships, and demonstrated performance.

Secure evidence exchange across law enforcement, prosecutors, defense counsel, courts, and external parties
Enterprise video content management
Secure live-video and situational-awareness solutions
Private-cloud, dedicated-cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped deployments
What You'll Do
Build and execute a business plan for your assigned territory, segment, or strategic market
Generate pipeline through direct outreach, referrals, conferences, partners, procurement portals, and contract vehicles
Build relationships with chiefs, sheriffs, command staff, prosecutors, investigators, evidence and records managers, CIOs, CISOs, and procurement officials
Run discovery sessions and translate agency needs into business and technical solutions
Develop business cases around faster investigations, reduced evidence-review time, lower redaction costs, and stronger security and disclosure
Coordinate demonstrations, executive briefings, workshops, pilots, and proof-of-concept evaluations
Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through negotiation, award, and contract execution
Lead or support responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, cooperative contracts, and sole-source opportunities
Navigate government procurement, grant funding, appropriations, budget cycles, and purchasing requirements
Develop channel, SI, and government-contracting partnerships to source direct and partner-led opportunities
Represent VIDIZMO at public-safety conferences, association meetings, and industry forums
Maintain accurate opportunity, activity, forecast, and customer data in CRM
AI Tools Usage & Accountability
You're expected to use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to strengthen your outputs — but AI-generated work is never final without your review. You own accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and business alignment on every deliverable, regardless of the tools used to produce it.
Required Qualifications
Five or more years of success in enterprise software, SaaS, government-technology, or public-safety-technology sales.
Demonstrated experience selling to law enforcement, justice, or federal/state/county/municipal government agencies.
Proven ability to generate new pipeline through direct prospecting.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Experience managing complex, lengthy, multi-stakeholder government sales cycles.
Understanding of public-sector budgeting, procurement, contracting, and competitive solicitation.
Ability to communicate credibly with agency executives, attorneys, investigators, IT and security leaders, and procurement officials.
Strong discovery, presentation, proposal, negotiation, and closing skills.
CRM proficiency for pipeline management and forecasting.
Ability to work independently while coordinating internal teams and partners.
Willingness to travel for meetings, demos, conferences, and partner activities.
Excellent English communication and U.S. market experience.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Established relationships within law enforcement, prosecution, public defense, courts, corrections, or federal public-safety agencies.
Experience selling digital evidence management, body-camera, RMS, CAD, redaction, video management, investigation, cybersecurity, cloud, or AI solutions.
Familiarity with evidence handling, chain of custody, discovery, disclosure, FOIA, public records, retention, and digital-evidence workflows.
Working knowledge of the FBI CJIS Security Policy and related public-sector security requirements.
Experience with government contract vehicles, cooperative purchasing, resellers, distributors, and systems integrators.
Experience selling on-premises, private-cloud, dedicated-cloud, SaaS, or air-gapped solutions.
Bachelor's degree in business, criminal justice, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
How You'll Be Measured
Quarterly and annual bookings and revenue; qualified pipeline generation and coverage; new-customer acquisition; win rate and opportunity progression; forecast accuracy and CRM discipline; average contract value and cycle management; direct and partner-sourced opportunities; strategic account development; customer references and expansion; and compliance with pricing, contracting, and security procedures.
Why Join Us
Own the growth of mission-critical products, work directly with executive leadership on strategy, influence product direction through market insight, and operate in high-impact markets with real-world outcomes.
Background & Security
Depending on territory and customer assignments, selected candidates may be required to complete employment and fingerprint-based background screening, CJIS security-awareness training, and confidentiality/security agreements, and to maintain eligibility to access government and law-enforcement facilities and Criminal Justice Information.
