About the Role: The Technology Executive Communications role is a strategic communications expert who partners with senior technology leaders to translate complex business and technology strategies into clear, compelling, and actionable communications for internal and external stakeholders.
This role serves as a trusted communications advisor, helping executives engage employees, customers, partners, and industry audiences through authentic storytelling, thought leadership, and strategic planning, messaging and content. The successful candidate is already steeped in the technology ecosystem and comfortable engaging with complex technical concepts, industry trends and business strategy. They combine strong business acumen with technical curiosity, enabling them to rapidly understand new technologies and translate sophisticated ideas into clear, compelling communications for a range of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Executive Communications and Counsel
Partner closely with senior technology executives to develop communications strategies aligned to business priorities.
Provide strategic messaging support that speaks to a range of stakeholders (employees, media, analysts, investors, partners and more) and channels (speakerships, social, written).
Counsel executives on communication approaches, audience engagement, and narrative development.
Help leaders communicate complex decisions and priorities with clarity and transparency.
Content Strategy and Development
Create executive-level communications, including presentations, speeches, talking points, employee communications, videos, Q and A materials, and leadership messaging.
Develop strategic plans and narratives that connect technology innovation, business strategy, customer value, and organizational priorities.
Ensure communications are clear, accurate, audience-appropriate, and aligned to company messaging.
Maintain executive voice and authenticity across communication channels.
Technology Translation and Storytelling
Build a strong understanding of products, technologies, business strategies, customer needs, and industry trends.
Translate complex technical concepts into accessible communications for diverse audiences.
Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to synthesize information and identify compelling stories.
Distill complex information into clear insights, decisions, and actions.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with communications, marketing, HR, product, engineering, legal, and executive office stakeholders.
Support integrated communications plans for key business milestones, launches, organizational changes, and leadership events.
Align messaging across multiple stakeholders and audiences.
Measurement and Insight
Monitor metrics including sentiment, engagement metrics, and communication effectiveness.
Identify opportunities to improve clarity, consistency, and impact.
Apply insights and audience feedback to refine executive communications strategies.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in the technology industry.
Open to candidates with an engineering/technical-related degree with experience in communications.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Experience supporting senior leaders in a large, complex, or technology-focused organization.
Strong stakeholder management and project management capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
