Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and over 10 years of experience in software engineering or systems architecture, with a strong background in AWS and cloud-native applications. Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is required.
Steampunk is seeking a Solution Architect responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions that support client mission objectives. The Solution Architect works closely with program leadership, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into well-architected systems.
This role provides technical leadership across the solution lifecycle, ensuring architectural consistency, integration across systems, and alignment with modern engineering practices such as Agile delivery, DevSecOps, and AWS cloud-native architectures. The Solution Architect evaluates technology options, establishes architectural standards, and supports engineering teams in implementing resilient, scalable, and secure solutions utilizing Java, React, HTML, and Python.
