The lifeguard is responsible for monitoring the aquatic facility to ensure the safety and well-being of all members and guests. They must also perform chemical testing, maintain facility cleanliness, and respond effectively to any emergency situations.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold current American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications. Applicants must also pass a physical skill test including a 500-yard swim and various rescue techniques.
