No two days for a Check Point Security Engineer (Presales) are the same, from getting hands on with the most advanced technologies in the market, to learning more about the customer’s most pressing security challenges and playing a crucial part in designing a solution, you’re always at the heart of fascinating projects!
Job Description
Your Role:
Work closely with our Sales Team in providing recommendations on appropriate Check Point solutions to meet our customer’s cyber security needs.
Provide insight and advice to potential and existing customers based on Check Point's best practice, applying your skills and knowledge in our industry to drive the optimal outcome.
Lead the technical engagement, addressing technical questions, providing consultative advice and managing key tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops
Demonstrate our full portfolio of solutions that help keep organizations safe from threats and protect their operations and information
Drive meetings with potential and existing customers to identify their problems and provide appropriate solutions
Support the responses to RFI's & RFP's with the relevant bid teams
Engage and support the enablement of key partners and customers on the latest Cyber Security Technologies.
Active participation in cyber security events
Keep timely update of activity reports and ensure timely communication with the Manager.
Qualifications
We are looking for people who:
Have a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent Industry experience
Have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience
Strong Network Security knowledge required, with hands-on experience in Check Point Security Gateways or a comparable solution
Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Have good understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needs
Are exposed to network, cloud and End Point security is advantageous
Have a bring a customer first mindset and experience in working with large to medium enterprise organizations
Have the ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment
Have excellent communication and presentation skills
As part of a distributed team of people, a strong sense of teamwork is required.
An active Australian Federal Government security clearance is preferred, or the ability to obtain one upon appointment.
