Candidates need 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend fundamentals in languages like Go, Java, Python, or Kotlin and comfort with React/TypeScript. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and a track record of designing scalable cloud systems on AWS are required.
As a Senior Full-Stack Software Development Engineer, you will own meaningful features end-to-end — from technical design through production — partnering closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to build systems our customers can trust with their most important transactions. You will operate independently, solve problems that span multiple systems and stakeholders, and help set the technical bar for the team around you. You will report to an Engineering Manager and work in a hybrid capacity from our office.
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is $155,000 - $190,000. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
