EMS Administrator - L3

  

This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE partner/customer office.

Job Description:

   

What you will do:

• Own the end-to-end administration, health, and configuration of the full CCCC EMS and ITSM tool stack: Motadata AIOps (event correlation, threshold alerting, service check URL polling), Motadata ServiceOps (ITSM / ticketing / KM DB), VuNet aiAPM (application performance monitoring / RUM), Seceon aiSIEM (security event management), and Trend Micro Apex One (EPP console)
• Configure and maintain all monitoring policies, alert thresholds, webhook integrations, and correlation rules across the EMS stack; ensure all source feeds are ingesting correctly from DoP NI, NGC, DOP IT 2.0 apps, and other integrated systems
• Own and maintain the API integration between Motadata ServiceOps and DoP CRM/Support Desk; ensure the five mandatory common fields (Module, Sub-Module, Category, Subject, Description) are correctly mapped; co-ordinate with DoP's Vidyadhar / Support Desk technical team on master data synchronisation (lookup dropdown exchange only)
• Ensure deduplication rules in ServiceOps are functioning correctly for automated webhook-triggered tickets; prevent alert storms from generating duplicate records in either ServiceOps or DoP CRM
• Manage Motadata ServiceOps ITSM configuration for SLA tracking: service check URL polling for availability SLAs; ticket API with location-category tags field networks; severity tags (1/2/3) for Cloud Infra; Call centre management solution.
• Administer the CCCC video wall dashboard solution — maintain panel layouts, KPI tile configurations, and data source connections for all integrated feeds (BSNL, NGC, NI, VuNet, Seceon, CRM incident counts, call centre agent metrics)
• Manage tool licences, user accounts, access controls, and agent/probe deployments across all monitored environments; track licence expiry dates and alert ahead of renewal deadlines
• Co-ordinate with OEM vendors (Motadata, VuNet, Seceon) for product patches, upgrades, rule customisation, and technical support; manage OEM support tickets to resolution
• Provide EMS data extracts and raw event logs as required for RCA investigations, VAPT audits, and ad-hoc DoP requests

What you will bring:

B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA or equivalent

Min. Experience

More than 5 years of hands-on experience in application administration or IT operations, with specific exposure to EMS, AIOps, or ITSM platform management

• In-depth proficiency in Motadata AIOps and ServiceOps EMS tool; working knowledge of VuNet APM and Seceon SIEM configuration
• SNMP, syslog, REST/webhook API integration, service check URL monitoring, and event correlation concepts
• ITSM platform administration: ticket workflows, SLA policy configuration, classification gates, and API field mapping
• Linux/Windows server administration for tool hosting, agent deployment, and log management
• Dashboard design: experience configuring monitoring visualisation tools (Grafana, Motadata dashboards) for video wall / NOC display contexts

Preferred Certifications

ITIL Foundation; vendor certification for Motadata / relevant EMS tool (preferred)
