The Part-Time Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in a residential shelter setting. This includes maintaining kitchen cleanliness and assisting the Food Services Co-ordinator with meal planning according to Toronto shelter standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, Food Handler Certification, WHMIS training, and Naloxone training. Experience of 1 to 3 years in large-scale food preparation and the ability to work with diverse populations with complex needs are required.
