Responsibilities

Conduct intensive ABA therapy sessions and maintain detailed client data and communication logs. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders in achieving their goals.

Requirements

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada, possess a reliable vehicle, and be willing to undergo a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening. Availability for evening and weekend shifts in the Toronto/North York area is required.

Full job description

As a Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support your clients in achieving their goals. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities. Please note that we do not offer LMIA or independent contractor setup 
Employment setup: Part-time. Hourly. 
Salary: $21-23/hr
Work setting: Community based in Toronto/North York area. Travel is required. 

Schedule: 
Mondays - Saturdays, between 9AM - 7PM EST (schedule based on client availability)

Take an inside look at what you will do each day:

  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions
  • Collect and graph data
  • Maintain client binders and materials
  • Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff
  • Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Uphold Centre policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc. as set out by Monarch House
  • Attend Monarch House social and public events

Here is what you will need to be successful

  • Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning
  • Willing to complete Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Must be open to 2-3 evening shifts a week 
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for daily use
  • Available for hourly shifts that can build to full time  
  • Experience delivering services in home and community 
  • Willingness to travel for in-home/community sessions, including availability on weekends as needed.
