The Associate Counselor screens and provides individual and group therapy to patients within the Institute of Geriatric Psychiatry. They are also responsible for clinical documentation, patient referrals, and participating in community outreach activities.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling and a valid NYS license (LMSW or LMHC). Experience with community outreach and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment are highly valued.

Screens, counsels and performs various activities relative to the treatment of patients within centers/clinics. This role may also provide administrative support to the center/clinic and participate in community outreach activities.
Experience with community activities or outreach is helpful.
